What makes people of your race happy?

Please, I need to know what makes people of your race happy (please give me general opinions, not personal). I.e.: getting married, having kids, making money, going to school, having a successful career, being part of a family, being independent, being a good son, being a good citizen, etc...

I am black,and live in the U.S.I don't think it is so much of race,because everyone essentially wants the same things,but we have different perspectives.No one wants to be miserable.

Well actually I am Mexican too and I have observed that many Mexican people need family and friends to be happy. Many Mexican families are big and may not be too wealthy but they have the support of one and other therefore they are happy. Having kids of course is also part of it. Although this isn't always the case, people aren't always completely alike in one single race.
