What makes people think this is OK?

I work in the fitting room for a big box retail chain, and for some reason people always get really mad at me when they want to try on underwear and I tell them it's against company policy.

My question is...why is this a surprise to anyone? Doesn't it just go without saying that underwear is not something you should be allowed to try on before buying?

  1. there's a reason why we don't have underwear op shops.

    it's unhygienic

  2. Yeah go for the hygiene thing! You'd think it would be pretty obvious to people as to why they wouldn't be allowed to try on underwear!  How dumb!

  3. I agree with the first poster, explain to them that it's unsanitary. They're idiots plain and simple. You shouldn't even have to explain that. No one needs some else's cooch germs on them when they purchase new underwear!

  4. try switching the word "company" with "hygiene". maybe that'll help.
