What makes "Reasoning" such a good card?

Its in removal decks im pretty sure, but i dont get what the concept is behind that card

  1. It's a free special summon. In OTK/combo decks, it is important to special summon as much as possible. Reasoning + monster gate lets you get to the monsters you need while beefing up your graveyard.

    Take Dark Gaia One turn Kill for example:

    Use reasoning, mill through your dreadroots/valkyrions and summon dmoc/jinzo. Dark Calling for Dark Gaia = 9900 attack on your field, not possible without reasoning.


  2. its not really good in a marco deck because it will mill everything out of play, but how reasoning works is it mills magic and trap then reaches a monsters and either mills it or special summons it. in a old removal deck where you wanted as many cards out of play usually for a helios or something that gained for all cards out of play, but most newer removal/macro decks dont use those cards. so you wont want all your magic and trap out of play and only one monster risking going out of play. if you play those old removals then its great, if you play the newer ones then it wont do you much good. other than milling and possibly special summoning 1 monster.

    the good thing about reasoning in general is you get to special summon some monster, hopefully a high lvl monster. also you get to mill your deck. if you dont know why thats good. ask anyone why card trooper was so good. essentially you got to mill 3 cards every turn, which burned off crappy cards, and increased your chances of drawing a good card. but even if they guess right, the monster goes to the graveyard, which opens up a lot of possibilities.

    reasoning is great in six samurai decks because there are a high amount of monsters, and their lvls vary, so that helps, also even if they guess right, the monster goes to the graveyard which isnt always a bad thing, since you got cunning of the 6 sam, and other ways to special summon it from their.

    for lord of leaves, no ones cares, you didnt even answer the question. and the reason why no one plays swings like taht is its not stable at all. so your dino can get 15000-25000, i dont see your crappy dinos in nationals. swings like taht will always be on a lower tier than strategy and speed. those kind of swings cant even beat swarms. players taht just think in atk should play dinos, because your way of thinking is extinct and for good reason. i bet you dont know know half of what im talking about. stay on your lower tier please and have fun looking up.

  3. these guys are talking like 9900 is alot of atk.

    but ive had my mega rock dragon up to around 15000.

    its not hard but with high atk comes high risk.

    b/c one well used magic cylinder is game over for your opponet or one draining sheild = alot of life for you.

    wich means its gives you time to draw good cards.

    i run a dino deck where i could get my tyrano infinity up to around 15-25 thousand depending on when i draw survial instinct and have enough dinos to remove from play.
