  1. lol sperm whales!!!!!

  2. all rocks contain salts and salts are extremely soluble in water so the running water from rivers going over these rocks will cause them to loose salt ions by physical weathering, these rivers run into seas where evaporation of the water occurs and the salts remain so their concentration increases. this salt is very important for things like ocean wide water currents e.g. north Atlantic drift and ensuring that all the oceans do not freeze every winter as salt dissolved in water bonds to water and stops it freezing which lowers it's freezing point (this is the same reason we add salt to water when we're cooking because the salt stops the water evaporating to it raises the boiling point making the food cook faster)

  3. rivers dissolve soluble salts from the soils/rocks they pass through/over.  These run to the sea but the salts remain in the oceans when the water evaporates, making the seas  more and more salty

  4. All water that lands on land eventually ends up in the sea.  The rocks that the water passes through contain minerals (salts) that are soluble.  The dissolved salts are transported into the oceans adding to the salt content.  A lot of salt that is used today comes from whats left of old seas and oceans when the water evaporated leaving the salts behind.

    Hope this is useful.

  5. fish sweat and to much sperm from male species!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Evaporation. All water contains salt but so much of the water in seas and oceans is evaporated to form rain clouds it becomes more concentrated.
