  2. Admittedly, I think it's a little of both...we love the caffeine buzz but I think that the addiction has alot to do with the use of "High Fructose Corn Syrup". Sadly, it is in just about everything (processed foods primarily). So, you should try to limit the amount of sodas and processed foods if you are concerned. High Fructose Corn Syrup became widely used  because it was so cheap...do a bit of research and you'll begin to see the correlation of the US's health problems in relation to this particular food additive. I'm not blaming all of the health problems like obesity on it...but it stands to reason.
