What makes surfing so much better than snowboarding?

More often than not there are waves somewhere, not allways snow, unless you can easily and affordably go from country to country.

I'm not sure what Surf equipment costs but snowboarding equiment is rather expensive. And surfers don't have to pay for a lift pass.

Haha way to many "less clothes" answers here. I say surfing is better because it is alot warmer... You can surf in December but generally you dont snowboard in August... Not saying no one has tried... but its pretty hard. Surfing is also less costly. Surfing is just alot more fun...

Surfing, by far, less cloths, less expensive, most often easier to get to, and can't beat the view,,wah hoo..
