  1. swimmers generally have HUGE shoulders (which are a b****h if you're a girl) and fairly skinny legs.  muscles are like deltoids, rhomboids, lats etc.  also it helps if you're tall, but not necessary.  also other people mentioned hairless.  swimmers shave down before big meets,  any other time of the year, you can tell a swimmer (at least a gir) by the amount of hair she has on her legs.  real teams you aren't allowed to shave until the night before a big meet (i.e, junior olympics, natls, olympics etc.).  the guys shave too, and you shave EVERYTHING legs, arms, back, armpits.  sry there's no citations, i'm just giving you info from my experience.

  2. you need to look like either.

    a) a triangle. broad shoulders = more upper body strength. and more back muscles.

    b) big hands and feet.

    c) racing stripe on head.

    d) hairless

    e) skinny and michael phelps = fast
