What makes the dolls eyes close?

yall are gonna think im crazy but my little cousin has this baby doll thats eyes close when you lean its head back. it made me start to think about what makes the dolls eyes go back. dont give me stupid answers please.

The put a weight on it. When the doll is upright, the weight on the back of the eyelid pulls down, causing the eyes to open.  When it is flat, the weight evens out, causing them to close.

Its a simple method of counterweighting. The baby's head moves back, the weight moves too and BAM! the eyes are closed!
