What makes the government act?

Government can do nothing for the people but why do they want to do good for people. What attracts government most when it comes to protest. What makes the government make right decisions for people.

  1. Way back in my high school government class, my teacher had his, "2 rules of government."

    Rule #1:  Money talks

    Rule #2:  More money talks louder.

      As far as the protests go, politicians only start paying attention when they get big enough they feel threatened come election time usually.


  2. You have this whole concept backwards!!! In a democracy the people are the government and the officials are their servants. The people need to speak up therefore and tell the officials loud and clear what they want done--- if done with enough enthusiasm and tenacity the officials will take notice--and do what the people want done. No government official either elected or appointed want to loose his position in the government!!!!

    LET THE PEOPLE SPEAK!!!!

    LET DEMOCRACY PREVAIL!!!!
