Isn´t it overestimated or overvalued with respect to the other lot that are still hostages of the Farc?Does that help President Uribe in his campaign and why were the American agents also released?

Is the fact that she is a political figure with double nationality as well, helping others?

How many millions have died in past few weeks because of hunger,natural disasters caused as a result of human greed,selfishness and disrespect for nature and others, preventable diseases ,wars,violence,crime,corporative and governmental corruption worlwide?

i don't think ingrid betancourt herself is the problem here.

media coverage isn't fair for any topic.  it is based on what sells, what's popular, how 'they' want the public to feel at that moment.

the only thing you can do is look into and research the things that interest you instead of eating up whatever garbage they're always trying to feed us.
