  1. I'm English, French, Irish, Scottish, Norwegian, Swedish, Dutch, Bavarian, and possibly a little bit Native American.  But actually the thing that interests me the most about my heritage is that I come from a very, very long line of Catholics on my mother's side who remained Catholic even when it was very difficult to be so in England.  It's a heritage I've become more proud of as time has gone on and one that, although I have a lot of issues with Catholicism, I don't want to abandon because of the faith and determination of my ancestors.

  2. I have hundreds of people in my family tree, and I'm still working on it.

I have very old american lines on my mother's side.

    Mother;

    Irish

    English

    Father;

    Belgian

    Irish

    English

    I love them all.

    The Irish make beautiful music.

The English make my favorite movies.

The Belgians make all that  glorious chocolate.

    All very good indeed.

  3. Mum:

    French,

    Spanish

    German,

    Italian

    Dad:

    German,

    British,

    Irish.

    I prefer my dad's :P lol

  4. Dutch, English, Scottish, Irish, Swiss French (both Protestant & Catholic), Silesian-Polish-Prussian, and unknowable. Most of these lines floated across the pond under dismal conditions from 1638 to 1720.

All of them are interesting, because they were just people struggling to survive. Even my brick wall people are important.

My best luck has been with the Dutch, Scottish, Swiss & Prussian lines because they were highly educated, and wrote about their adventures, or did things that other wrote about.

My general impression is that we are all spoiled brats compared to our recent ancestors and what they endured.

  5. Mom's side:

1% Irish I know weird huh?

    Austrian

    Welsch

    Scottish

    Dad's Side:

    Syrian

    Lebonese

And I am not a terrorist or no way connected with Al-Qida

And I like my mom's side better because I look more like my mom's side. I have pale skin for an Arabic the only thing that makes me an Arab girl is that I have Almond shaped eyes.

  6. Everywhere European; Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Egypt, Syria, about 2 dozen countries in Africa, Russia, Siberia, Eskimos, Innuits, Sammis, Canary Islands, Carribean Islands, China, Japan, the Philippines, Viet Nam...

    Get the picture?

American Indians would be the most interesting, and the Sammis....

  7. On my father's side of my family, it's English, English and more English.  On my mother's side, it's Irish, Irish and more Irish.  They both interest me.  I'm still digging into them.
