We probably see plenty of attractive people a day, but why is it only certain people that make us want more? What is it about those people? And I don't mean if you've talked to them before. Just seen from afar.

  1. I find myself attracted to confident people, not overly pushy, aggressive or a show off, just a quiet, definite ...you know that they know.  They are secure in themselves and confident.

I also love to be around bubbly, up beat happy people, it is contagious., just as a whiner, negative person, can, and will, bring you down, up-beat positive people make you feel good.

When a confident person walks into a room all eyes are drawn to them, their mannerisms, movements, speech and everything....thank you

  2. Well, sociologists have studied certain general preferences that attract the opposite s*x, like broad shoulders, strong jaw, high forehead, etc. for men, and large wideset eyes and full lips for women.

But as far as individual preferences go, such as eye color, hair color, skin tone, etc. that remains a mystery I think.  I prefer the darker races over my own, and have no idea why.  For me, opposites attract, but for others, they prefer a mate that looks like them.  But if I do on occasion find a white guy attractive, he always has auburn hair and brown eyes.  Go figure!

  3. Just as certain variations are going to make us different, there will also be similarities. Since we all smile, cry, frown, work, play, and so forth, we'll run across people who are 'just like Cousin Bobby'.
