  2. Our forefathers would have answered by showing you the Declaration of Independence:

    "We hold these truths to be self-evident....."

    Self-evident, meaning that so many people agree that they should have freedom, it's considered part of human nature.  It's like asking "What makes us think we have the right to be alive?"

  3. you are as free or fettered as you want to be.  

  4. Who decides who controls YOU.  If you are not free then who makes the rules?  Freedom obviously has its' limits.  However the ability to express yourself defines your level of freedom.

  5. Because of what it says in the Domesday book it guarantees our rights and freedoms, even though if Gordon Brown had his way he would sell us lock stock and barrel to the European Parliament

    If you disagree why wont he let the country have a referendum on staying in the EU
