  1. Neither of those. Work on your punching movement and isometric exercises. The guide below is great for telling you how to increase your punch power.


  2. well for a faster punch use wrist weights and for a powerful punch i would say some dumbells with a technique of getting your hip into the punch will help alot. :)

  3. weights wont do anything significant to your punch, all weights are for is to get your muscles unnaturally big, which reduces flexibillity, and you have to be flexible to box, just work your legs alot, run up steps and hills, power comes from your legs and hips, if you increase muscle mass on your arms through weight it will just slow you down

  4. for the people that say "unatural" muscle that u gain from lifting weights reduces flexibility, that's a bunch of bs, you just have to stretch before and after each of your workouts and you'll be fine. Why do u think sprinters and even mike tyson do so well?

    and punching force usually comes from the torque generated by your hips and legs rather than your arm, but ofcourse a strong chest and back does help
