What makes you buy an artists' album and not just a song they have out?

The artist!! When a reputable artist has an album out I buy the cd for example norah jones: she hasn’t had a single N1 hit but her albums are beyond great and you can feel the music.

On the other and we have katy perry whos single I kissed a girl stayed n1 for 7 weeks but I didn’t buy her cd I just downloaded the song coz her cd is probably “BAD”

i buy the cd based on album history producers record sales and featured artists like i buy all of britney spesrs ccds because i support her and her music almost on every cd except her recent one hasnt pushed me away for her albums
