What makes you have faith?

The coincidences in my life that occur when i ask if my faith is real then i am shown. To see the positive putcomes of things i desire gives me hope and keeps the belfief alive.

Religionists believe in God and hope that he will let them into heaven,

Spiritualist pray to God and hope that he will let them out of h**l.

I am of the latter variety. Belief in God has saved my life.

When I struggled with faith, I read an essay by Leo Tolstoy called "A Confession." In it, he talks about being with and without faith. He said when he thought there was no God, he felt empty and saw nothing but darkness. He said when he just acknowledged the presence of a God, and sought after God, that he felt full and alive. This helped me tremendously, because it summed up my own feelings at the time. What makes me have faith? The feeling that there is more out there... something bigger than me and that it is my task to find out what that is.

Belief and following the road map of the Bible, it say's believe unto me so belief is first then you activate faith= your thoughts and actions after believing sometimes meaning to do nothing just wait and believe God going do something about the situation, to enhance your faith more so.

I know it sounds funny, but there is an answer in having no answer. It brings me a strange comfort.

Logically,  faith comes from the lack of Logic.  That or fear/hope.
