  1. old people who can't drive and cars that sound like they don't have mufflers     aka tuners

  2. #2   IS A GOOD ONE

I bet  alot of other people agree

  3. What makes me the craziest when I am driving is knowing that when I get to work I will have to listen to everyone's lame play-by-play recap of their commute, as though they are perfect and everyone else is out to get them. I can look forward to hearing about every illegal lane change, every tailgater, every person who drove a tick under the posted speed limit, every person who cut them off, every person who signaled too long or not at all, every person who slowed down to look at a wreck, every person who changes lanes into the space in front that was so carefully crafted and maintained, and every person who blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. The same exact things happen to every single driver every single day. Who cares? Point your car down the road, look out the front window most of the time, glance at your mirrors now and then, follow the rules, and don't worry about everyone else. Your job is to get yourself, your passengers, and your car to your destination without damage. Emotion behind the wheel is your enemy.

  4. Drive like tortoise on the fast lane...I wish I drive a truck with no brakes and ram them.

  5. #2 I really can't stand that when people cheat the system like that!

Your first situation can totally be avoided though, just stay away from people and expect the unexpected.

  6. #2 is a big pet peeve of mine too! Its like that person hasn't been taught any manners and doesn't know when to wait for his/her turn.

Another pet peeve is when I turn my blinker on to change lane and the person on the other lane would deliberately speed up so I wouldn't be able to get over.

  7. Slow drivers in the fast lane drive me crazy. (especially because I often see people here complain about people who weeve in and out of traffic, no one would do that if the fast lane wasn't filled with slow drivers)

People who seem to purposefully speed up to block you from entering their lane when they see some one driving faster than them about to switch lanes (as if a fast driver is going to get in front of them and affect their driving by making them drive the same speed, no only slow people who get in front affect the drivers behind them by making them drive the same speed... think about it)

Another thing that drives me crazy is why slow drivers think that the streets are a race, and if some one is driving faster than them, they have to slow them down, because they just can't have anyone pass them on the streets... It's not a race, and fast drivers aren't trying to get in front of you to win anything, they just don't want to drive slow. If you want to drive slow, that's perfectly fine, but why block people?

When people switch lanes without using their blinkers,

or when people switch multiple lanes while leaving their blinker on the entire time. I don't like that one because of the people who forget to turn off their blinkers, I'm always thinking "Great, is this person switching lanes again, or did he just forget to turn off the blinker??"

I can't stand why slow drivers feel so threatended by fast drivers, as if me driving past them is a sign of disrespect, or that I think I am awesome for driving fast, and that I think slow drivers are chumps. I don't dislike slow drivers, and I have nothing against them. I just don't like the ones who purposefully block me in. I don't mean to offend any one with my speed, I just like to drive faster than the average person.

Oh, and I find it odd when people press their brakes to slow down when there is nothing in front of them.. I mean, why not just let go of the gas pedal and come to a slower speed?? I just find that one weird...

  8. Oooo that second one is good. I especially love when they speed past you/around you to get one carlength ahead, then slam on the brakes, drive slower, or when their lane slows down, want back over. I routinely speed up so people like that have to brake.

  9. People who don't obey the most important rule of driving, keep right except to pass. People who don't use blinkers. People who stop when on an on-ramp. People who don't understand the word yield. And cops.

  10. Slow cars in the fast/passing lane, people that don't use turn signals and don't believe signs that say'Lane Closed Ahead' until they can't go anymore and try to cut in front of you.

  11. my number one pet peeve is when you are sitting in traffic on the freeway (Im from CA, LA area), and someone thinks that they are more special than everyone else and use the shoulder.

  12. Your #2 and when you're stuck in traffic and when it clears it was because people were nosy looking at a wreck on the other side of the highway.

  13. Any driver that does not know how to share the road with the semi-trucks. I can not count the number of times that I have been cut off and had to slam on the brakes. All because some MORON has to take the exit that I'm passing. It's like they forgot the exit was there and realized it as the moron is passing it.

And when someone can not speed up or slow down to merge onto the interstate. I'm starting to think that my huge semi-truck is invisible to them.

And when there is a construction zone coming up and they have to get in front of the truck because they think that I will slow them down.

  14. city drivers....and country drivers.
