What makes you think Sarah Palin would be a good vice president?

seriously, this woman cant even control her own teenage daughter...then how does she expect to partly run a country?! She needs to get her own life in order first and get rid of those botox injections that arent doing her any good.

Hillary couldnt control her own husband, what makes you think she would have been a good VP?  And why are you brining up Botox of all things?!  Is that all you have?  Wow. Hillary has had her share as well....im just finding this all too funny.

Ok let me clear this first...It's not the fact that her daughter is pregnant that weighs her down...it's the fact that her daughter is pregnant yet she's against s*x ed being openly taught to young adult and pushes for abstinence only measures, and now we find that her daughter is pregnant. It makes you wonder how practical and in touch with today's world she really is.

Next I really believe that she is getting more hype that she deserves. She may have been a good governor, but there are plenty of other states out there that can boast good governors, that have the experience we need but lack the corruption of Washington.

Overall, I think this campaign is by far just as hypocritical as campaigns usually are.  They don't want her family life revealed scrutinized, and yet they want everyone to see that she is a down to earth family woman.  I believe that kids are off limits and that her family life should not be an issue, but when she is trying to use her family in a positive light to promote herself, she may want to make sure everything is up to par in her household first.

That being said, I think the country has lost site of the fact that this woman is not running for president, only promoting the guy who is. When your potential VP is getting more publicity than your potential president, I think it may be time to ask yourself if your presidential nominee was really the right choice.

Sarah Palin is McCain's excuse to woo Hillary supporters.

I, as a Hillary supporter, can't be any more offended.

To try and woo us by nominating a woman is just politics.

But THAT woman...

It's a slap in the face.

The fact of the matter is that Sarah Palin is no Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton is smart, funny, and would have been the greatest President this country has ever seen.

Sarah Palin, along with John McCain, will run is into the ground.

...and Obama can't even vote "yay or nay" on tough issues, instead he votes "present" to avoid taking a stand. Carrying the title of Senator means nothing if that person does nothing, like Obama.

Regardless, Palin has more experience, qualifications and far more accomplishments than Obama who wants to be President.

I would rather have a hard working Governor as VP (whose job is to support the President), than a lazy Senator like Obama for President .

Well I have to disagree with you on one thing, about the teenage daughter, I don't think it should be part of politics. It's a family matter, and Obama rightfully respected her in that regard.

However, as a registered Republican who is still unsure who to vote for, Palin seriously disappointed me tonight. I got nothing from her Speech, everything she said was another hate speech. I wanted to learn about her policies and what she would do for this country. Obama never insulted her, but she had to take the low-blow and it really disgusted me. I really hope John McCain doesn't do the same, but I never really liked this guy, it just sucks he picked a VP whom I dislike even more.

Who are you to tell that someone can't control their daughter?  People need to leave her family alone, it is not a good argument!  How many kids do you have?  Do you know how hard it is to be a mother?  How many male candidates have you ever questioned like that?  Get a life and get some kids!  I guess its true that everyone who don't have kids, can tell you how to raise them!

LOL. I'm not that crazy about Palin (too religious for me) but she is a very popular governor. She has made mistakes in her administration but then against who hasn't? Palin has more experience than McCain (she actually has executive experience). As for her daughter, there are many parents with good jobs who have wild children. That doesn't mean they are going to be bad lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc.

I live in Alaska and Sarah Palin is the best governer this state has ever seen. She is a strong leader and has more understanding and heart then any other politician there is. For you to say that she can't even control her own daughter is not only biast, it's a way to take the easy way out by playing a childish blame game. She gives her all in everything she does and this country would be greatly blessed to have her as vice president.It seems as if you want to put blame on her for being a fallable human being just like every other person on the planet.
