I live in Ontario...I like living here, but its not the best. I would say that its a toss up between PEI and Newfoundland. The people are more relaxed and the provinces are more scenic than Ontario.

Québec is a great place to live...once you put aside the neverending separatist and language issues.  Québec is one of the most welcoming places for new  immigrants to Canada, much more so than so many other parts of the country.

Immigrants from French speaking countries such as Algeria, Haiti, feel very comfortable here in Québec.

In Montréal a new immigrant family can easily feel at home and feel welcome into the community...which is not so easy to do in a place like Barrie, Ontario or Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Well, I live in Calgary, Alberta, a very rich province with lots of oil and gas and cattle and wheat.  Just recently, before the resignation of Ralph Klein, the majority of the residence got a $400 prosperity cheque from the government.  CHEER FOR ALBERTA!
