What makeup did they wear in the 80's?

I am going to an 80's dance next week and I'm not sure what kind of makeup they wore. i already have my outfit picked out except for my shirt..which is sort of important. so and 80's shirts along with tips for the makeup??

wear hot pink leggings and lots of layers in funky colors!!!! If you're feeling adventorous, pink pumps would look good:]

Wear a neon colored eye shadow, like turquoise or highlighter yellow. Then a red kipstick and lotsof bluch that goes to the temples!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

the 80's was all about big hair, heavy cheeks eyeliner and dk lipstick .  As for the shirt anything with shoulder pads  OR

you could go retro madonna or if you wanted to go punk early 80's punk was still big.  

The message is big and overdone for the 80's

Okay...wear some leggings and a large shirt over the top...wear a tank top underneath and make sure the top you wear is large enough at the neckline to fall off of one of your shoulders...kind of like the Flashdance star.

Make sure you have BIG HAIR!!!! Big s**y Hair products are great for that.

As far as makeup goes, THE MORE THE BETTER!!  I don't know what your complexion is but I would say on your eyes:  medium purple on the lid, a shimmery light color on the brow line and a dark purple in the crease...LOTS OF EYELINER IN BLACK!!  And then tons of mascara.  Put on blush so you can still see it, blend it just slightly.

As far as lips go, you can even go with a bright magenta, anything radical!

First, clean your face; second, put on foundation that matches your skin tone. Put it on thick so that your whole face is the same color. Then outline your whole eye in black eyeliner. Next put one color of bold eyeshadow on your lower lid and another bold eyeshadow on your upper lid. Apply white eyeshadow or pale pink eyeshadow right under your eyebrow. Apply black mascara on lower and upper lashes. Brows were bushy in the 80s. Groom and brush. Line the lips using a fuchsia liner slightly exaggerated and apply fuchsia lipstick. Apply pink rouge to the cheeks. As for a shirt, go to walmart and buy a sweatshirt (not a hoodie) and cut the top of the shoulders off to make it boat-neck cut. Then wear layered tank tops underneath so that the straps show
