Question:

What makeup for a natural look?

I want a great foundation that won't clog my pores or make me break out. Also, I would love a powder to go over my T-Zone, it gets oily throughout the day. Please don't recommend BareMinerals, I'm not interested. I like Clinique brand, Urban Decay, and some brands from Sephora. Also, can you hook me up with a great natural looking eyeshadow? Your color choice! Thanks<3.

  1. I'm not a makeup expert, but I have had good luck mixing a little oil of olay complete in with my foundation (for normal skin). It makes the foundation look more natural and does not clog my pores. I would not recommend powder, because it can get into your pores and clog them, or at least, that's what it did to me. If you need to spot treat T zone areas, use almay clear complexion concealer. It treats and conceals but is very mild on skin. Good luck

  2. use a color close to that of ur skin

    thats all

    maybe some mascara

but more than that and it wont look natural

  3. Bare minerals..Visit Sephora!

  4. Well I've tried Maybelline's mineral makeup and it is very good.

Carmindy. is a makeup artist who likes to use natural makeup

and I heard her book is good.

  5. the most natural is make up commando...thats what i do...let them love you for who you really are

  6. Mac makes a eyeshadow that is very nude and neutral called "shroom"

Foundation isnt all its chucked up to be, I much prefer powder all over. And airbrush makeup will look good on anyone

  7. two of the best looking natural colored eyeshadows are YDK and midnight cowboy rides again by Urban Decay. the YDK is a natural shade of brown and midnight cowboy rides again is a natural colored sparkly eyeshadow if you want to "dress up" the natural look.

for a bronzer, which will add a nice, even tan, try: http://sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?...

its a product found at Sephora.

for mascara try covergirl, volumizing...it comes in an orange container and works fantastically

for lip color try either neutrogena's color: dreamy

thats all i would suggest using if you want a natural look

  8. omg i love clinique! i have skin like yours u will love:

try them at sephora you wont be disappointed. hope i hlpd :]

  9. Foundation:

Do not use it. Use a tinted moisturizer. It is lighter and soo much better for your skin. Most have SPF also, so you don't even have to apply sunscreen. It will not make you breakout or clog your pores. I use stilla.

The best concealer I have ever used it Smashbox. It covers up absolutely anything. Amazing! So worth the splurg. BY FAR!

Powder... Try physicians formula. It's pretty cheap and works very well.

    Clear or pink lipgloss.

I love this eyeshadow. Its natural and very pretty.

Try brown eyeliner, mascara if wanted.

    Hope I could help!

  10. I will have to go with smokymountainminerals.com, for foundations & healthy skin. It's PURE not like those seen on tv.

Avon eye shadows in sky & rose mauve, the tube is great. & the browns & neutrals. they also have come out with "cheat sheets" that you just lay the paper on your eyes & rub it & twallah your eyes are done! much like paint transfers, except it's real makeup. Great!

  11. Well, most liquid foundations don't work for a natural look. Covergirl has great powder that you can brush over your face to look natural, and then use a sponge applicator to make it heavier on your t-zone. I think any brand of eyeshadow is fine, as long as you have very natural colors. Try a peach or tan color (close to your skin tone) to cover your whole lid, a very light shade to highlight your brow and the inside corner of your eye, and a darker shade (I like light brown, gold, or plum) to put on the crease of your eye.

  12. I like MAC products. Choosing the right shade and the right tools to apply the product makes a big difference. For a natural look, blend your powder in a circular motion with a nice face brush. For eyeshadow, I love MAC Warming Trend or Sumptuous Olive. For gorgeous glowing cheeks, you must try NARS o****m blush.

  13. how do you think of it ?

  14. I use...Sec..Grab my foundation...

Ew..I just realized its loreal...But hey! It works like a dream...I like it because it gives great coverage and I have -never- broken out from it before..Definitely meant for older women but I think it looks better on "We without wrinkles and sagging grossness!" Visible lift firming are the big bold letters to what its called...Pro retinol A and x-tensium..Great stuff...Also good spf on it so you dont die of melanoma! Woo!

If you have blue eyes like your av suggests, go for auburns or other browns, they make blue eyes pop and they are definitely natural looking. :)

  15. hi..i know this website that teaches u all the techniques dat u want..its amy B..she's fabulous..i kinda forgot the website add but u can try searching for amy B in youtube....

  16. i luv the natural look.

i went make up shopping just the other day.

i purchased COVERGIRL TRU BLEND foundation and i cant even believe how amazing it is! its sooo naturall you cant even tell you have it on! its amazingggggggg! its only like $9!

also for a natural look i think you just need a little eyeliner, mascara, lipgloss and a little blush.

    eyeliner: maybelline define-a-line! ahhmazing..about $5

mascara: i just bought COLLOSAL volume express maybelline. LOVE IT! yellow and purple tube. $7

lipgloss- pretty much any brand- i have victoria secret and i love it

blush- i use e.l.f.(eyes lips face) light pink blush and its so natural and pretty! $5

powder- physicians formula miner powder- comes in like a plastic ball. its so AWESOME! it lasted me like a year, and its only $12!

concealer- covergirl invisible concealer is awesomee like $5

these are the products i use use for a natural look! hope it helps!

and if you want pics of how the products look so u know which ones they are, just email =DD

  17. Try MAC cosmetics. I use their Studio Tech foundation, which is cream to powder, and I don't need a powder over the top of it. It's light but full coverage. And although I'm prone to breakouts, MAC doesn't give me a problem. For natural looking eye shadow, it depends on your skin tone. I'm fair, and I use Ricepaper, Bamboo, or Retrospeck (depending on the time of year) all the way up to my brow, then I put Soba on my lids and accent with Tempting. Just a little smoky but not overdone.

PS - MAC has great Blotting Linens for those oily times. Better to take it off your skin than to cover it up. =) Good luck!

  18. i use mabeline matte finish foundation. i think its fabulous. it comes in a little jar, i apply it with a brush, looks flawless.

  19. mineral makeup is beautiful. I have to go with that over anything

  20. all you need are colors that match your skin,

    but a shade darker.

make it look like you're wearing something, but make it natural.

  21. Have you tried Origin?

and mabye if you want to splurge "chanel?

    they have really nice makeup,

    very natural looking

    and really hot makeup.

    you should defenitly give those

    some tries.

  22. Try puritycosmetics.co.uk. It is really good!

  23. Try using mineral makeup. And no i'm not suggesting bare minerals lol. I honestly despise when people suggest that, especially when they suggest it to people saying they have acne or sensitive skin, as it has a known skin irritant in it.

I have oily, acne prone skin. My makeup routine consists of washing my face with a cleanser, using a toner, then using a mattifying moisturizer and once that sets, I use a primer for oily skin (although I find it's definitely not really effective enough. I use Smashbox, currently looking for something new) and once THAT sets I apply concealer if needed then using my MAC 187 stippling brush, I apply a light layer of Physicians Formula loose mineral powder. I find that it gives my skin a dewy look, and it still makes me look that way when my skin gets oily. I would stay away from any products containing Bismuth Oxychloride. There are other mineral foundations as well, such as Everyday Minerals, although I found that I didn't really like how it looked and applied and it burned my skin when I started sweating. Anyways, after I apply that mineral powder, I wait a minute or two and then take my fluffy powder brush and apply a TINY bit of my Shiseido loose powder over top to just set everything. I find that it really does make my skin look much healthier and such, and natural. All I have to do now is find a better primer to really help make my pores smaller and something to use as a neutralizer to cover all my redness

Natural looking eye shadow would just be I guess... earth tones! Browns, pinks, golds, stuff like that.
