What makeup to wear on picture day?

How much makeup should I wear on picture day?

a link to a picture of some good but not over the top makeup would be really helpful

and some products that you like to use

Just go with your natural self. You don't want to look back on your picture and think "Dear God I was a bit eyeliner-happy that day".

Just some powder or whatever you wear on your face, light eyeliner, and some pinky lip gloss. You're good to go!

hey girl! a lot of make-up, which in real life looks fake enough, will look super-fake in photographs. i say leave it to:

bronzer-but just a bit, and make sure you do your neck too so it doesnt look like you have it on. i'd start practicing like a week before so you'll be an expert by picture day!

mascara-to make you lashes look long and s**y. two coats of black on the top, but don't overdo it. none on the bottom, it could lead to...the dreaded racoon eyes.

blush-in a soft pink color. barely sweep your cheekbones. there, now you have a soft pretty glow.

lip gloss-clear, or soft pink looks best in pictures. a dark pink might look like more than you need!

just keep it real soft and subtle, it will look effortless and guys will love that you don't need a lot of make up to look gorgeous!

i would wear maybe some light brown or fushia eyeliner with simple lipgloss not anything overwhelming.

I dont know how old you are or what you will be wearing, so I would suggest a classic look, the only thing for pictures is I would say you would want to wear a heavier foundation for pictures, to make you skin tone more even.  Even better yet, I would get my makeup done that day at a cosmetic counter and have it done by a professional who is use to doing makeup for photography.  This is a classic great clean head shot look, very pretty.
