What makeup would suit my complexion?

i have asian skin, yet it is almost olivey/tan. and dark brown eyes, brows and hair is naturally dark brown with a hint of red.

at the moment, i use black pencil, mascara and liquid eyeliner, with soft, earthy shadow tones. dont really use blush...it kind of makes me look strange. and no foundation. just some pale lipgloss or simply lip balm.

does this makeup style suit me or does it create a heavy, dark appearance? any suggestions? thanx

  1. natural is always the way to go to much make up makes you look cheap it you have dark hair its good to stick with black eyeliner but brown is good for redish, blonde, and very light brown hair maybe try a smoky eye with some earthy tones with the eyeliner try to make as fine of a line as you can because it looks sleeker and complements your face if you have acne or many blemishes on  you face you should go with a foundation or bronser like bare minerals.

eye liner in the eyes works for people with very round eyes i have almond shaped eyes so it doesn't work for me

  2. yea i think that sounds as if it suits you.

you could try a little bronzer on your cheeks maybe, just to try it?

  3. I think this suits you well but if you say you have dark brown eyes i think it would look nice if you hi-lighted them by using a foundation or hi-lighting pen (YSL Touche Eclat radiant touch). Use one shade lighter than your skin tone around your eyebrow bone and slightly underneath to bring out your eyes.

If you use eyeliner the inner part of you eye it tends to make you eyes look smaller.

  4. Iman has a range of make up that might suit you.
