While fishing at Fewston Reservoir recently I saw a gorgeous little Mouse like creature but don't know what it is.
It was very small and didn't look as if it had eyes. It had a long tapered nose which came to a point and was looking for food on the bank. It was not wet so I think it lives on land. It didn't appear to see us and quite happily carried on it's search path which ran from our left to right and it only noticed us when we moved.
Any ideas? I've identified field mice, voles, water voles, dormice... so they're discounted.
