In long jump and triple jump is it where your feet land or where your hands or backside land. Is it measured from the mark nearest to the take off?

    but if they fall back, on to their backside, they'd mark where they fell.

  3. It is the mark nearest the take off. So if you fall backwards after landing its hard luck as that's the mark they measure.
