  1. In the second Bourne movie, the fight scene that takes place in the house of the operative who starts out with his hands tied and ends with him being choked by a lamp chord ---  it looks like a mix of Krav Maga, Kali, Kick-Boxing, and Jujitsu.  Knowing the way fight choreographers pull their stunt fights together, its always going to be a bit of a "mutt" of the arts.  There's absolutely no Aikido in there.

  2. Arnis (also referred to as 'Kali', which is an Americanized word for it. The style is actually called Arnis or Escrima. It's a Filipino martial art.

  3. ...While drew's definition of Aikido needs some work, here's the honest answer:

It's a highly choreographed version of Krav Maga, but don't get any ideas- that's what Krav Maga is SUPPOSED to have the ability to do, but unfortunately, with the general low quality of KM instructors and training, getting to a theoretical 'James Bourne' level of  expertise and ability to apply the principles of KM is highly unlikely.

  4. Its actually aikido which is used by the special forces.  Im sure that some of the techs shown were from other styles but the base was aikido

pstarkey, why do you have some?...lmao

  5. drew you on drugs? akido lol thats a very defensive pasive art that would not look good on the screen km is what i have heard it is but also i have read  that the special edition dvd etc has clips of training etc etc and they say its kali so i dont know but any for a film fight its cool and before anyone asks batman dark knight is keysi fighting method-- just incase

  6. In the books, he uses some mystical Kung-Fu type art that his teacher is like the only other person left on Earth that knows it.

In the movies, they say it's Krav Maga. But it's not. There's a bit of Krav in there, but more Aikido and and a few other arts. All in all, it's largely Hollywoo-do.
