What martial art moves should i do to lose weight?

am 14 5'7 165 pounds and i really want to lose some weight and i play baseball so i need to be lighter and stronger. so i am planning to do plyometric drills and i want to do some martial arts move because i know they are good for losing weight then after that i can go to the gym for about an hour and work on muscles but i really need some exercises to do that have to do with martial arts so i need some exercises to do i need to know how long to do them each day thank for the help and also a site that shows how to do the exercise helps to.

  1. martial arts is good for cardio. try sparring at a black belt level for more than 2 minutes, you'll feel it for a while


  2. Unless you stop eating so much, none of that will help.

  4. May I recommend the 'whispering lotus', and follow it up with the 'quivering grasshopper.'   Those 2 moves will surely take pounds off, as well as, let others know that you are in a full state of zen.  Be sure to bow afterwards.

  7. Reduce your caloric intake and increase your activity.  So it doesn't matter which martial art 'moves' you do.

  9. I would get a punching bag.  Do some side kicks.  Mix up your workouts so you don't get bored.  Good luck.
