  1. Tang soo do is an all around martial arts

  2. Join the wrestling team.  At 120 your coach will love you because good lightweights are hard to find.  You'll learn all the takedown defenses you need and it's free.

Do you think you could learn to play basketball from a book?  No, you join a team, have a coach, do drills, etc.  The same with Martial Arts.  You can't just pick up a book and learn it.  You need a teacher who knows what he's talking about.

  3. Rob B has given you a good answer, but i would ask why do yo fight so much? Sounds like you need to work on other stuff besides fighting.

I realize that this is the inernet generation, but there is no way to learn to fight effectivly from books, DVD's or the internet.

  4. best idea is start training in martial arts, so no one will pick on you. its not good fighting in a unsafe enviroment such as ANYWERE out side of your gym or ring unless its an absolute nessasary. most MMA fighters have a background of muay thai.

  5. Hruth none of those martial arts listed have much, if any, take down defenses.

Your kind of contradicting yourself, because the martial arts that really teach take down defense are the ground martial arts like BJJ. So your, in a sense, contradicting yourself.

It's kinda easy to defend against a tackle though. Just sprawl your legs out after they make contact.

  6. Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, Wing Chun.
