  1. iron skill. (This is mostly about chi power)

  2. ANY martial art.

if you are that big, you can muscle people that others can't.

HOWEVER I give you the warning that many big people (by big I mean strong- not mihcael moore big) fall into.

    DON'T MUSCLE WHEN LEARNING TECHNIQUE.

its very easy if you are 350lbs and your opponent is 170 to get ANYTHING off on them in practice, the point is to learn not to just push them around- it is MUCH more difficult for you and you should train with other big guys your own size to make sure you got it.

you have to be extra cognizant that you didnt muscle the technique because what might work against a smaller guy you will find will fail when it shouldn't against someone your own size or bigger simply because you didn't really learn the technique you just pushed the guy around.

and outside of practice in many cases the little guy would fight you differently and maybe not even use that particular technique against you, but because it is practice and you are learning a specific technique or set of them on any given day, he doesn't have that choice, so even if the guy is 130, you should train against him as if he is your weight and stregth so you know you get the technique down right.

  3. muay thai or brazilian jui jitzu because stronger guys make good grapplers

  4. Muay Thai would be good.

  5. I would suggest some wrestling and boxing.  Learning to use your power to control your opponent through wrestling and learning to control and explode with your power at the right times in boxing.  M ost bigger muscular guys don't tend to become submission masters because their power has always been a good replacement for technique so they don't emphasize technique quite as much as a smaller guy who will depend on solid technique since the power isn't there.  I am not saying you are limited and cannot become a BJJ expert, but wrestling and Boxing (Thai Boxing counts) teach how to control and use power at the right times.

  6. I would learn Russian sambo it's what i do as a big guy

  7. muay thai, boxing, sanda (san shou), wrestling, judo, etc.

  8. Judo and wrestling..it will be easy to control your opponents with your power

  9. For striking: muay thai, boxing, sanshou, kyokushin karate.

For grappling: Judo, Brazilian jujitsu, wrestling.

For a mix of grappling and striking: combat sambo, shidokan karate.

    good luck!

  10. Hung gar.

  11. I got two suggestions. First has already been mentioned and that is Sambo. Sambo like wrestling only it does allow some striking and has a lot more throwing. The exta size is helpful when on the ground because the weight helps hold people down. It also helps in throwing because you can use the weight as leverage.

If now sambo then just straight wrestling. The most dominant fighters in higher weight classes have all been wrestlers because once you get someone to the ground, the weight helps hold them down and you can have more control.

    Hope this helps
