  1. tai chi is pretty kool. i dont think yoga is really a martial art its more streches.

  2. any of them that are not full contact or acrobatic. My mom has Rheumatoid arthritis and she walks every day and runs on a treadmill three times a week to keep the pain down. An elderly lady I know does aerobics for it as well. it is actually the motion that helps. it will suck really badly at first but will help greatly in the long run. out of those two choices I do not know. I would go the the schools and gyms in your area and try each one out. talk to the instructors and ask what they believe is the is are the pros and cons to what they teach. In my opinion though Yoga is great for fitness and flexibility but is not a martial art

  3. Tai chi for sure would be best but don't underestimate it as a soft/slow art  as at an advanced level its one of the most dangerous arts in the world ,if you trained seriously in tai chi for 10yrs you would naturally be an awesome fighter .

  4. Tai Chi would be awesome for you.  I've been training in it for a few years to supplement my kenpo and it helps a lot with stability.  I have bad knees and a bad back and I can tell a difference from my  experience with tai chi.  Give it a shot.
