What materials and processes are used for?

What materials would you say a silicon gun is made out of? Also what would say a deodrant can was made out of? and the processes for making both of these?

How woulf i find this out? I've tried typing in all sorts on google, but i just can't find anything.

  1. A silicon gun would logically be made of the element silicon.  However if you are talking about silicone - the chemical family then that also contains silicon, but in a chemical form.

    Aerosol cans are virtually always made of aluminium.  They are made by pressing or spin forming a piece of aluminium sheet


  2. Here is the link for Den Braven's applicators. The industrial and domestic type. They are mainly made from metal cut and welded together.

    The second is for a company making cans out of tin plated steel. That they probably roll and weld together.
