What materials could i use to make my own flip flops? and where would i get it from?

You could dip your feet into melted paraffin (wax) two or three times.  Then dip your foot in hot rubber for about 5 times.  You will end up with a form fitting shoe.  You then simply trim off the upper part.  Don't forget that the blistering of your feet will make the size considerably larger.  As for cost, you'll need to figure in the cost of the medical bills and plastic surgery.

I made a cute pair for my grandaughter :)  I bought the craft foam sheets from the arts and crafts store and then purchased the craft glue. Try Michael's Arts and Crafts or Jo ann's fabrics.They also have 'idea' pull sheets through out the store. They had all kinds of demos set up to give you ideas including 'crystals', trims, beads, buttons, glitter; as well as different colored foam stick ons.

You can do a lot when you create yourself and then you don't have to settle for what the retail stores have to offer.

I found an exercise mat made out of the craft foam and took it home and cut a strip off of it to use for the base of the flip flop. I used an awl to puncture the hole for between the toes.  You may not be able to find one so check out other stores. If not, you can layer the sheets of craft foam; consider rotating different colors for a rainbow effect. Buy the proper craft foam glue adhesive.

What ever you do; have fun and don't stop creating things. You never know, you might be able to sell them :)
