What materials do i need for an authentic looking Joker costume?

Question

Like many other people, i want to be the new joker for halloween. Does anyone have any tips to what materials i should use for makeup and also for a wig because my hair is super short. i was thinking of buying the official joker makeup kit but i still don't know yet. And please remember, i want my costume to look very authentic and not like those cheap licensed joker costumes.

ok well like u could get a hannah montana wig   ... cut it shoulder length... put lots of gel on it  like his sorta wavy greasy hair........... then like just go to a thrift store and find a purple tux... or a white one and dye it! simple!!!  for make up--- well like get dark red  lipstick  or like plain red and generously out line ur lips...  then do like ur lips... kinda smudge it!!!!!!!  i hope ur costume turns out great!!
