What materials should i use to make a model of the human digestive system?

balloons with flour paste inside and segmented with rubber bands, comes to mind...for the intestines.  The stomach could be drawn (with the fundus et cetra detailed) to the point of the sphincter where the ballon small intestine then attaches on your poster board...I can visualize it, you can make it.
