Question:

What may happen in this case

My friend was having some work done on the wiring in her home. Her now husband found child pornography in a crawl space. They took it to the police station right away. She believes it belonged to her ex-husband, whom she divorced because he was sleeping with her promiscuous 14 year old niece. After they divorced he was charged with molestation of a young child. But he was never convicted due to lack of evidence! Now, my friend is afraid that because this "trash" was found in her home and because her ex hasn't lived there for the past 5-6 years that she might be blamed for it being there. She's afraid of losing her kids and afraid that her ex may never be caught before he does something horrible to someones child. What should she do or what else can she do? She's very upset also and is afraid to talk to anyone but me, I'm not a trained therapist tho. I don't know what to tell her....

  1. This is probably what may happen! The police will take the p**n and use it for themselves and later they may find this guy just to buy more p**n from him! After that they may look for the niece for sexual purposes! This is what you usually expect from the people in blue! They are pathetic and would rather hand out speeding tickets instead of going after real criminals like the republicans! They are arrogant and waste more public funds than the military!

  2. What may happen?

I suppose the authorities could locate her ex husband and   he and the law could possibly get involved in a high speed pursuit where he ends up at his ex wife's house and takes her hostage. After a tense all night standoff it could possibly end with a bloody gun battle where he takes his life and maybe the lives of others.

I'm not saying it will happen because it probably won't.

But you asked what "may" happen!

  3. I kinda doubt if she and her current husband turned the p**n into the police that they will be charged with anything.

  4. I doubt the police are going to come down on her.. SHE'S the one who turned it in. And with the ex-husband's record I really really doubt they would think she's turning her own p**n in. I don't know if it's enough to catch the ex-husband because it happened so long ago though. But it probably will, I assume they will find his fingerprints and other incriminating info on the p**n itself to link him to it.

I'd tell her there is really nothing to worry about and that she did the right thing. She should be proud of herself, exspeically since she thinks for some reason this might come back on her.
