what should I eat before I go to xcountry tryouts? Any ideas would be great. thanks so much!

  1. 1. a glass of 3 raw eggs

    2. a protein shake made of raw eggs and nails

    3. powerade with steroids


  2. i eat spaghetti cuz it has a lot of carbs in it to give you energy

  3. Pasta the night before,

    and peanut/chocolate energy bars, at least an hour prior to racing.

    I always had a "Marathon" peanut/ chocolate bar before my races)

    Try bananas either as is, or in an energy smoothie.

    Berocca for an instant fizz energy drink.

    Go for gold good luck.

  4. When i ran cross country, our team would always have a pasta dinner the night before.  Carb loading gives you energy for the next day.  Make sure you eat something small before the race...banana, powerbar, or something like that maybe an hour beforehand.

  5. the night before, eat carbs, like pasta, which will give u energy. the day of the tryouts, eat something light that won't give you a stomachache. good luck!
