  1. Europeans we more intelligent, but aside from that it was probably small pox that caused the decimation of the indegenous people of North America. Such a shame. Peace.

  2. Geographical luck. Basically the europeans had all but one of the domesticate animals in the world. this allowed specialization and weapons, and technology. When the native americans came to the americas thousands of years ago, they crossed at the bering straight, being so cold, many diseases were killed, and diseases were very uncommon in the americas. when europeans came they brought technology, and germs from animals which easily killed the americans because they had no immunity, and large animals and more sophisticated weapons easily overtook the natives.

If you need more, and don't want to read the book, there is a video version.

  3. Better weapons and different diseases that Native Americans were not immune to.

  4. Small Pox and other disease the Native Americans had built Resistance to over the course of hundreds of years. More Native Americans died due to lack of immunity than through warfare. I sometimes wonder about the outcome of the colonization of the americas if small Pox and other diseases weren't a prevalent part.

  5. Germs. Lots of them.

    Guns. Lots of them.

And the natives were too trusting of the settlers. They had no idea of what  was going to happen to them when they let them come over.

  6. In history class the teacher said small pox.
