Basically, a "storyline" is another name for a feud. For example, current storylines include Shawn Micheals vs. Chris Jericho, Undertaker vs. Edge, or Maryse vs. Michelle McCool. To put it simply, Inactive due to lack of storyline, means that he isn't involved in a feud or storyline at the moment, and therefore hasn't been on TV/Wrestling lately.
