  1. seizures.

or your olfactory nerves/sense of smell/taste has been altered.

    go talk to a doc.

  2. Do you suffer from other halluniations....taste, sight, sound, touch?

    Could be mental health?

  3. i don't know what it is but from time to time i smell what i would describe as engine exhaust. however there is no source. sometime it's more frequent sometimes I go months without smelling it.. weird huh?

  4. Of course the first question would be, does any one else smell what you are smelling and, is it all the time, where ever you are?

I guess you would already know if you have epilepsy.   Do you live with anyone who is very ill?

  5. This could be epilepsy. Some people will have an aura, prior to the onset of seizures. Many people experience an aura before having a seizure. Auras are odd sensations of smell or taste, or visual disturbances, and may be pleasant or unpleasant.

  6. I don't know if you mean you smell it all the time or if somebody smells like it. If someone smells sweet it usually means that they have diabetes and their insulin levels are unstable. If you are smelling something sweet then I have no idea, blow your nose or smell coffee beans to get rid of it
