What medications are given to u.s. army in iraq?

my son-in-law has a viris from taking a med while he was in iraq so i just wanted to know what kinds of meds they were given.

  1. you dont get viruses from taking meds.

    You can get viruses from shots since they are viruses themselves.


  2. Whatever a qualified Doctor decided he needed at the time. Being there is no different from anywhere else. The medicine doesn't change.

  3. Medicines don't cause viral infections. They could only cause a reduction in one's immune system which could lead to a person developing an opportune viral infection from having a reduced immunity to infection. An example of this would be the type of medicines given to an organ transplant patient to prevent the body from rejecting the new organ.
