  1. Depends on how your skin is. If you have delicate skin that gets dry or doesn't do well with strong acne cleansers, I suggest neutrogena. They're really good. If you have no problem with strong cleansers, Oxy is pretty good. It's really strong, too strong for me. But if you want a medication, go to your doctor and ask him/her about it. I had really bad acne growing up and wanted a prescription. I got a pretty good one.

Also, look for something that works. Some won't. Keep trying different products till you find one that fits your schedule and actually cleans your skin without drying it up.

Good luck! And trust that it'll get better. :)

  2. you should try to apply some creams in it. like the bamboo acne cream. if you want to take for a medicine you should try to see http://yumeimise.com for more acne products

  3. Lots of Vitamin A & C.

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:

    * Mineral Oil, Paraffin, and Petrolatum – Petroleum products that coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues. Slows cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer. Disruptive of hormonal activity. By the way, when there’s an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up – fast? Why put that stuff on your skin?

    * Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

    * Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

    * Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.

    * Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

    * Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived

    * Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

    * Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”.

Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and you can substitute virgin/extra virgin olive oil or a natural coconut oil to moisturize in the meantime until you find a better, natural alternative!!! Tell ALL your friends and family!!!

  4. Do not take anything for acne. The combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple.

For acne scars and blemishes my wife lighten them up using  papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are available online. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too. Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'

  5. retinol A / something "re-tin A" (sound like that... )

cos my brother had a serious acne problem few year ago!!!! Try it! Ask for  retinol A prescription from ur family Dr.

    also, drink plenty of water...

  6. omg! i've tried a lot of stuff! i've put antibacterial oitment on then which was good with healing it. i've also tried Burt's Bees tea tree oil blemish stick which dries up pimples. also tried mario badescu drying cream, didn't do anything to it. hmm... what else.... can't remember the rest. anyway, all of those didn't really solve my acne problem. i'm going to start to take accutane hoping this will do the trick

  7. Ask your doctor about the best medicines for you.  Everyone is different.  Drink plenty of water.  Get enough sleep, eat a nutritious diet, and try to get rid of some of the stress in your life.  Keep your face very clean.  Probably the most useful and effective things you can do are to apply hot compresses to pustules and cysts and never to pick or squeeze pimples. Playing with or popping pimples, no matter how careful and clean you are, nearly always makes bumps stay redder and bumpier longer.   Here are a few informative links with additional home treatment ideas.

  8. I got a precription for acne. I use:

    Morning - Benzoil Peroxide Cream

    Night - Differen Gel

My doctor prescribed this to me. If you want, you can go to your docter and they'll do the same. You'll get the same medicine and it really really REALLY works!!!!!!! (So much better than any of those other medicines advertised on TV!!!!!!)

  9. Doxycycline 100mg daily

Pracsion face wash (sodium sulfacetamide 10%, sulphur 5%) twice daily

    Clindamycin phosphate gel 1% daily

    Tretinoin gel 0.01% daily

  10. try www.acne.org

it's a great resource and has reviews on pretty much every type of acne treatment on the face of this earth.

personally, i've been taking minocycline and it's worked great on my mild-moderate acne. it's prescribed. i also wash my face twice a day, before bed and after i get up in the morning. clearasil has worked the best on me. smells funky and doesn't spread well compared to other face washes, but works without the adverse side effects that other scrubs/creams seem to have on me. leaves your face a bit dry but hey that's what jojoba oil is for. (for more on jojoba oil, go to http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showr...

accutane has had the best results for severe acne, i think. it's like the last resort for acne. but it's only in severe/hopeless cases that doctors actually prescribe it to you.
