  2. As a geologist, I learned that the earth is actually a pretty good insulator due to its thickness of thousands of miles.  The heat released by the earth at the surface is small compared to the heat generated from the sun.

    As one example, you could ice skate in the Thames in the 19th Century and at the time of Stonehenge the climate was quite warm.

  4. Global warming melted the glaciers, and we are still in a warming cycle. Warming is good.

    Wait till the cycle reverses and it starts getting cold, that is when you want to start to worry.
