  1. none... i will always remember he ducked cotto and margarito.... cmon, he turned down 8 million dollar so that he doesnt have to fight margarito... he even said that he's not out there to fight to prove who is the best.... so he's not fighting for money or who is the best, then why does he say that he's the best and that he does not want to fight cotto because cotto wont make him money.... so that's what i will always remember floyd for...

if you dont believe me, watch this video....  and maybe you'll believe shane mosely....

  2. Man I haven't been on here in quite a while. I've been so busy so I just wanna say what's up guys!

I gotta agree with Woody, his destruction of Diego Corrales was the one fight that will always stick out in my mind. Diego was bigger, taller, and a murderous puncher at 130 and Floyd beat him so easily. I'm still shocked when I watch that fight.

  3. His destruction of Corrales and Gotti will always be memorable. The Zab Judah fight had a lot of fireworks- Roger Mayweather's antics. His fight with De La Hoya was a better fight than most people don't give it's due. The Hatton fight solidified Mayweather's "king of the ring" status.

  4. Probably his easy destruction of Diego Corrales, who was also undefeated at the time. Ricky Hatton would probably be second.

  5. The Corrales fight should go down as his signature fight - he took on another young, undefeated fighter who was blowing people away at the time.  Corrales looked like a 135 pound Tommy Hearns, and there were a lot of people picking him to overwhelm Mayweather.

Floyd won every second of the fight, beautiful boxing, movement, various combinations, everything set up perfectly - he was about 10 steps ahead of Corrales the entire fight.

That was Floyd at his best.

  6. none , he really didnt excite me when he fights , but the most funniest fight he had that i will remeber will be judah/mayweather lmao!!! XD

  7. Diego Chico Corrales R.I.P

  8. none because he never fought anybody big that I would have liked him to fight. If he fought Cotto, Margarito, Mosley, Kostya, Williams, Quintana, or Berto instead of ducking them I would have remembered those. But since he retired without fighting any real competition I doubt anybody will remember him in ten years let alone one of his fights.

  9. that he always talks trash before he fights..

  10. Probably Ripping apart Diego Corrales who was supposed to be this power punching machine that was going to wreck him.

Zab Judah was a good fight for Floyd Mayweather too because as much garbage as people talk about Zab that was the best Judah had fought in years. I challenge anybody to name a time  period from when Zab beat Spinks to his fight with Floyd that he was a better fighter, and Mayweather gets no credit for beating Judah who was IBF champion at the time. One thing about that fight that really sticks  out is that Floyd showed you have too be a complete fighter to beat him and Zab with all this speed, power, swagger, trash talk wasn't a complete fighter he was missing one thing CONDITIONING.

  11. The ones that come to mind are his fights with corrales, at the time nobody thought floyd was going to win, many were sure that corrales's size and power would have been too much for mayweather jr but floyd went in there and put all doubters to rest after giving an impressive display of boxing skillls, another one that comes to mind is jose luis castillo, castillo gave him a hard time the first time they met ( i actually felt that castillo won that fight) but the second time floyd dominated him and completely outboxed him and that showed me that floyd was a boxer who learned from his mistakes, another fight that impressed me was his fight with de la hoya, many people were disappointed with that fight but i was impressed by mayweather's defensive and counter punching skills, de la hoya was much bigger and a much harder puncher than floyd but floyd managed to get a decision none the less, his fight with hatton was also pretty good, he survived hatton's initial pressure attack and came back to knock him, my favorite fight however would be his fight with Ndou, at the time Ndou was considered one of the strongest punchers in the lightweight divisions and his knock out percentage only added credibilty to this statement, many thought mayweather was going to face him with a defensive approach, instead floyd surprised everyone and fought Ndou with an offensive approach and traded punches with him to a earn a decisive victory, his fight with zab judah was also quite entertaining, judah hit him with a low blow and then there was the whole brawl with the trainers, floyd kept his calm and came back to administer judah a decisive beating....it is too early to call any of these fights classics but they are definetely memorable fights for anyone that apprevciates good boxing (and by boxing i mean the actual sport and science behind it not two men knocking each other senseless in the ring)
