What message would this send?

Question

When I say goodbye to my friend(he's going on a mission next year) who I love deeply and is special to me I want to do this and what would it tell him:

I will put my hands on each side of his face and slowly move my hands down and glide my thumbs across his lips like curtains opening.

I just want to let him know that the door to romance with me is open in the future just not right now. Good way? I don't want to kiss him because I respect and honor him too much.

I would kiss him goodbye....respect & honor have nothing to do with this!!!

If you touch his lips like that he will try to kiss you if he likes you. Your telling him that your going to miss him to much and that you want to kiss him.
