  1. C-section with lots of drugs!

  2. vaginal induction with epidural both times and I would do it again in a heartbeat.  I waited as long as I could for my epidural with my second baby to see if I could actually do it natural but it was WAY too painful.

The only thing I would change about both of my deliveries would be the stitches afterward.  I could do without those but overall it wasn't that bad. I had an episiotmy with my first and I tore with my second.  I healed way faster from the tear than I did the episiotmy so I def wont opt for one of those again, I would rather tear.

  3. Natural all the way. I took a Hypnobirthing class and had a pain-free birth with no drugs, induction, or IV's. It's all about staying relaxed and calm.

My husband was a great help too, and I hung out in the shower for a while to help the relaxation.

    Would do it again.

  4. At home, no drugs, no needless interventions, no cervical checks, nothing.  That night I cooked a huge roast beef and chocolate chip cookies.  Hubby spent an hour shortly after the baby was born with the baby lying on the couch watching football.  He can't shut up about how awesome it was to catch his son.

    I'd do it again tomorrow.

  5. C-section. i am a scary cat so yes, I would do it again if I had too.

  6. My first was natural all the way.  I loved it and it wasn't as bad as everyone loves to say it is.

My second was an induction at a hospital with no pain meds or intervention.  I didn't really like that but it was necessary.

My third, as long as everything is okay, will be done at a waterbirth center.  All natural as well.

If it were possible I would have had my second naturally.  Of course when giving birth you have to take all things like health of mommy and baby into consideration.  Somethings like induction or C-sections are unavoidable and in the best interest of everyone.

  7. 3 c-sections (medically necessary)

I definitely don't miss the after-effects of 3 vaginal births!

  8. With my first, I had a vaginal with epidural.  It was wonderful.

With my second, I didn't have time for anything.  It was the most painful thing I've ever felt in my life.  I wasn't mentally prepared for it though; I thought I'd be getting the epidural.

I definitely preferred my first delivery, although the second recovery was much easier.

    Good luck!

  9. I had a vaginal with epidural. I would not choose to do it the same again. I had planned a natural vaginal birth but things didn't work out. I hope to try again next time, I didn't care for the epidural.

  10. Vaginal with epidural.I had a wonderful birth & enjoyed the whole thing.I would do the same and plan to when I have another child.

  11. i wanted natural, i was halfway there - no meds, 23hrs later they told me i had to have an emergency section due to labour failing to progress (i was 10cm but sh did not descend into birth canal) and increasing fetal distress.

i would hope next time, they wouldnt put me straight forward for a section. it really upset me that i couldnt have a vaginal birth, but she got here safe, which is the most important thing.

  12. I will be doing natural all the way this time. Just using acupuncture, massage and a warm bath. No induction either.

    Wish me luck!

  13. 5 all natural vaginal

    nope wouldnt change a thing.

  14. Vaginal with epidural

To be honest I would have rather had a c section, since i was pushing for 4 hours, my epidural wore off twice, and wow it was extremely painful. I got really sick was throwing up everywhere and i had to have an oxygen mask on, which was actually uncomfortable while trying to push for so long. lol.

  15. With my first I had a vaginal induction with epidural-wouldn't change a thing

With my second I had vaginal induction but they had to do epidural 3 times and it didn't work. It was very painful. I would never do it natural.

With my third my water broke and I had v****a with perfect epidural. They checked me 3 hours after coming in and her head was coming out I didn't even know she was coming out. I didn't have to push. I don't know why someone would go through all that pain when you can have a painfree childbirth. My recovery was very quick with all of them except my third my back hurt for a few weeks from epirual.

  16. i had vaginal with epidural. it was great but i wish i would have done natural. just because i feel like i might have missed out on something.

  17. I had an emergency c-section and while I wouldn't have chosen the emergency part of it it was great for thr actual birth - recovery was painful and you don't bounce back as soon as natural - but I'd do it again.

  18. my first child was born with an epidural, which in the end caused my c-section. (very long story...but my midwife agrees that i shouldn't have had to have a c-section.)

this last time, i had a completely natural birth. no pain killers, no anything. it only took 5 and a half hours, and i only pushed 4 times. AND i was watching my son play soccer 2 days after my daughter was born. i would do natural childbirth again in a heartbeat. hurt like h**l, but totally worth it. you have more control, and you can help your baby out more.

    good luck!

  19. I had my son at home, without any drugs or interventions.  I am looking forward (yes, really) to doing it again.  Being at home was wonderful.

  20. Vaginal with epidural, i will be doing the same this time too

  21. vaginal with epidural and yes! definitely! but i would like to go into labor on my own this time.

  22. Vaginal with saddleblock

  23. With my first I had a vaginal with epidural, I obiviously would do it again that way, as my second was the same.

With my third I planned on having the epidural, but in our small town it is only available with the epidural doctor there, and he left early so I did it "natural" if you can call being induced natural.

I would consider being induced again only because it made my labor sooooooo much quicker than the first two (or because this was my third who knows for sure) but I think I would want an epidural with induction next time.  I wouldlove to try completely natural, but we are done now.

  24. I wanted to go natural but my son was 9 pounds 10 ounces and would not fit. So after 13 hours of labor and 3 of pushing I had to have a c-section.

But if I had to pick I would take the epidural and deliver. It is so very tough after a c-section. My son is 4 weeks old and I am still no where near back to normal. I am dying to get back to walking and working out and you can’t for 6 weeks!

The epidural is AMAZING and really helps deal with the pain!

Hope this helps you and good luck!

  25. I had a vaginal birth with an epidural.

I would have liked to have done without the epidural, and if I WAS to have another baby (not going to happen) I would try harder to go completely 'natural.'

  26. Ian was born vaginally with an epidural and I plan on doing the same thing with our next. The woman in the room next to me was doing it natural allll the way and I remember going through my contractions and asking my doctor and l&d nurse why she was so crazy....we could hear her screaming the entire time and I was on the verge of tears for a completely strangers pain lol
