What midfield player would you have in your fantasy football team?

apart from the obvious e.g. gerrard, lampard,fabregas ronaldo,deco

any suggestions? someone who is consistent and gets good point on a regular basis?

Liam Lawrence is an ok choice if you're skint. I went for medium priced players like Arteta, Cahill, Elano etc...

Depends on the game you're in really as assists and goal points fluctuate from game to game.

I've got Elano, X.Alonso, Gerrard, Davies and Arteta

Stewart Downing, Ashley Young, Jimmy Bullard, are some good low cost players, who rack up fantasy points in the midfield. Young may be a bit pricey. I tagged Antonio Valencia from Wigan to break out this year. He's struggled so far, but could be one to watch.
