  1. First note that P2P is legal. I use P2P every few months to download new versions of Linux, which is free. That would be an example of ligament use.

    p****y over P2P is illegal. This can cause jail time and and fines of up to $10,000 USD per offense in the US. Also it may lead to virus infestation spreading if you get your files from an unknown source. If it grows to much P2P file-sharing can actually lead to the software/media that is being stolen to no longer be produced. If a record label doesn't see high enough sales, they'll let the band go. p****y is a big flag that says people want it, but not badly enough to pay for it.


  2. Since most P2P is illegal, the consequences include being arrested by the FBI and/or sued by the RIAA and MPAA.

  3. They have got to give you a warning first what your downloading,  

  4. 1.  It's illegal, and there is potential to get caught.  2.  You aren't sure just what you're downloading.  3.  You don't know who you're downloading from.  Either of the last two can cause you to get viruses or other problems.
