What might have happened to the discovery of agriculture if the last Ice Age ended 1,000 years than it did?

  1. California and other areas were south of the ice. They had lots of rain. They would have been great for growing crops even if the ice age was earlier or later in ending. It is only the ice covered regions that had to wait.


  2. Ended 1000 years what?  Earlier or Later?  Please specify.

You can't use California because Indians did not do much in agriculture.  The middle east, then Europe are the seats of agriculture.  It depends on earlier or later.  Its hard to know what would have happened if it ended earlier but later it would have slowed all human development because all advancement was dependent on readily available food supply.  

    It would also depend of the subject of your class.  It could be looking at the development of Egypt as opposed to Iraq(Iraq was further north). In could be looking at the movement of man in Europe later or earlier which was uninhabitable during the last Ice Age.
