  1. i basically went like 3 blocks, and i never got over 35mph. i had to change lanes, make turns and stop at lights. the hard part is the manuverability. i passed that by 1 point lol. just make sure you keep both hands on the wheel, and be cautious, but dont hesitate. i got points off for hesitating.. seriously.

  2. I took my test in NYC where the local speeds are 25 mph (but obviously not enforced).

If you are in my position, you are to go 25 mph and not a mile over. You will need to park, make a 3 point turn, pull over, stop at a stop sign and traffic light. you will be observed by the examiner who will be making sure you put your signal when necessary, you look at your blind spot when necessary, you have 2 hands on the wheel, and you are looking at your mirrors when necessary.

    good luck!

  3. Before you drive he will ask you how to operate all controls(hazard lights indicators, brake lights, horn, wipers demister, fan, air con etc).

Then he will take you on a 40minute drive in traffic changing lanes, negotiating "T"intersections,roundabouts,crossroads,... signs, give way signs, etc.

He may get you to do some turn-arounds,reversing,parking etc.  Make sure you check mirror, indicate and blind spot check before turning,or pulling out onto the road.

If you don't feel confident it may be best to postpone the test until you get to enjoy driving. Most learners need at least 120 hours of experience.Good luck.
