  1. the reserves are gettin like a 20,000 dollar sign on bonus

and plus theyll wait to deploy until ur outta college if so choose

but my friend is in the air force and he has seen the world pretty much

and he owns a bmw so i dont think hes doin so bad in the money department either lol

but good luck on whatever u choose!

  2. "should you get into?"  HAHA you got to apply first and it's doubtful you will get into any of them as they're standards are set quite high.  But should you get into one, the military is not a place where you will make a lot of money.  You have to be a civilian if you're in it for that.

  3. it's not really which academy do you want but more like which academy will take you.

i heard academy is quite a challenge.

    good luck.

  4. You should have prepared yourself for the academy of your choice well before graduation from high school.  You are facing a stiff challenge as many students prep themselves their entire high school career and stiff have difficulty getting in.  If this is an afterthought or a passing fancy just let it be that.  It takes a serious commitment to manage the 4 years there.  Perhaps ROTC would be a better alternative at this point.

  5. If you haven't already applied and been accepted your chances are slim to none of getting into any one of them. They are harder to get into than most private universities.

  6. its to late to get into academy you have to dam smart and do all sorts of stuff to even send an application in.

but there are also many different ROTC programs you could try

  7. Depends on your interest:  West Point, Army; Annapolis, Navy or Colorado Springs, Air Force. It would seem to me that the Air Force is the most "civilized"  of the three, but then (and more importantly)  your choice also depends on the sort of work you desire to do

  8. West Point, baby.  West Point.
